Living 03:08
If you're not not living life Now's the best time to begin You really never know when it's your last breath in. No more excuses No more defaults Take off your mask and break down the walls It's hard to find a friend When you're not comfortable in your skin If you're not in love It's time to let love in You'd be surprised at the power of human compassion They say they who love themselves first Really know the value of what life is worth It's time to sing along Celebrate life with a song If the party hasn't started Then what the hell you waiting for Get the party started Now that my feet are through the door You got to live your life for living Cause there may be no tomorrow Do the best with the time thats given No more pain and no more sorrow

Whatever you want Whatever you need Just know it's not taken when you get it from me I have open arms And my heart's on my sleeve I know we can make it Love will never leave This life's not about all the things we can get It's about what we've given When it's all said and we're dead It's what we've left behind Everything passes No possession is ours It all comes around There's no value in cost What we've lost Someone else will find Whatever you want Whatever you need Just know it's not taken when you get it from me I have open arms And my heart's on my sleeve I know we can make it Love will never leave

Fade 02:10
Take me to the dawn Far from babylon Because I don't belong Where I can't feel strong And I'll sing my song Until the crowd is gone Take me to the dawn Drive right through the night So I can see the light Shining on what's right Then I'll know who to fight Whenever I lose sight And The worlds too black and white Drive right through the night And we sing along Cause everyone feels alone But on day the walls will fade

I'll tell you one thing I really want you to know I love you baby and you know that I love your soul I'm taking it easy but there's no doubt you're on my mind Come tomorrow what may when our yesterdays left behind Whatever you do I'm here for you Can you feel it now No need to hide I'm on your side Can you feel it now Can you feel it now I be the one to look after you. I'll tell you one thing I really want you to see Right past the ego and right down to the real me 'm taking it easy but there's no doubt you're on my mind Come tomorrow what may when our yesterdays left behind Whatever you do I'm here for you Can you feel it now No need to hide I'm on your side Can you feel it now Can you feel it now I be the one to look after you.

There's no time to waist So you best make haste You'll try and You'll fail And you'll fall flat on your face Legs and feet and knees are what you see the most Vamping through your life as if you're a ghost When there's no satiation for your needs You cry and you wale for someone to help you feed Dependent on others but that soon will change Sooner or latter you will join the parade Just remember all you see Is just the image of a dream There is no black and white The color of truth is gray Won't make it out This world alive Better live while you survive

One Man Army 04:20
Taking back the day again Holding on to me Sailing off with the dying wind to the sea It's hard to fight your enemies When they all come from within Haunting me like memories Of past sin And they call me A One Man Army At war with myself Yes they call me A One Man Army I fight no one else But myself I don't know whats wrong with me So I'll focus on whats right No more dwelling in that endless shit in my life It's so hard to fight your enemies When a part of you wants them to win trust in yourself and I'm sure you'll find You can And they call me A One Man Army At war with myself Yes they call me A One Man Army I fight no one else But myself

Standing in a short line And I've been waiting here for way too long I don't even know what I'm here for Are we living in a society That's under occupation by big money Are we working for our wages Or are we only working off servitude in our cages Where did we go wrong I wonder And is it too late Standing in a short line And I've been waiting here for way too long I don't even know what I'm here for There's dubious corporations Who puppet politicians of big nations They sold us on the lie that we want it And we're creatures of comfort so we bought in Now we're all ruining the planet Future generations are gonna remember us As the ones who damned it Standing in a short line And I've been waiting here for way too long I don't even have my hand out Like Pavlov's dogs We drool and salivate To the lies they advertise and propagate Before we know it it's way too late And we're standing in a short line.

about

When I was a kid, I used to sit in my room for hours with a Karaoke machine that had duel tape decks. I would record myself playing and singing. Then I would bounce those tracks off to another tape and add two more instruments.

It was a crude way of making solo multitrack recordings, but it taught me a lot.

This is a little side project I made in the spirit of those first recordings.
Of course, I'm no longer using a Karaoke machine.

After my band SNAFU finished recording "SNAFU:The Album" in 2012,
I ended up storing the recording equipment inside a little room in my house. One weekend, I decided to set up all the equipment and lay down a few ideas I'd been working on. Each song was recorded one weekend at a time, reflecting the mood I happened to be in that week.
The result is a musical journey of emotion from start to end.

With a host of instruments on hand and unlimited digital tracks to record to, I was a free spirited kid again, creating whatever came to mind.
Only this time I had a much bigger canvas.
